Dear Friends,
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to ISBTI-Gujarat chapter. Gujarat has given us the "Father of the Nation" and a rich tradition of giving. This is also clearly reflected in social activities like voluntary Blood Donations. Gujarat is among the top five states in the country in number of voluntary Blood Donations. Apart from this, Gujarat was the fourth state in the country to start a Post Graduate course in Transfusion Medicine way back in 2005. Since then, we have been able to improve the quality, safety and accessibility of Blood Transfusion Services with greater technical input. Let us pledge to take Gujarat to greater heights and serve humanity by strengthening our Blood Transfusion Services. Let no patient die due to lack of safe blood. Let us all strive to make Gujarat the Number One state in Blood Transfusion Services.
